Bank Nizwa receives two prestigious Awards at Alam Al-Iktisaad Awards Ceremony 2021

Positioning itself as a strong, progressive and customer-centric Islamic banking institution, Bank Nizwa has earned a commendable reputation as the leading Sharia-compliant bank in the Sultanate which has resulted into winning ‘Best Performing Company (Large Cap)’ award. While playing a pivotal role in steering the bank to greater heights, its CEO, Khalid Al Kayed, has also received the much-coveted title of ‘CEO of the Year – Islamic Banking’ at the Alam Al Iktisaad Awards 2021.

The award ceremony witnessed as its Chief Guest Her Excellency Maitha Al Mahrouqi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism. Also in attendance were other distinguished guests and prominent figures from Oman’s corporate world.

Bank Nizwa’s 5-year strategic roadmap, that was rolled out in 2020, focuses on the five pillars of development which include financial performance, technological advancement, market share, team & culture, and being a progressive organisation.
